Knowledge transfer
Expertise that gets you ahead – training courses that inspire. We don't just convey content, we work with you to make complex technical concepts understandable and tangible. Our training courses combine precise factual information with genuine enthusiasm for engineering. This creates knowledge that sticks – and that you can use immediately in your projects.
Hands-on training: operating, adjusting and optimising valve positioners. From theory to practical application — directly on the control valve.
From theory to practical application – directly on the control valve
This practice-oriented training provides a structured overview of the most important valve positioner types and their functional principles. You will become familiar with typical fault patterns and learn how to diagnose and resolve them efficiently. The main emphasis is on hands-on work at the valve itself: carrying out adjustments, analysing real fault situations and deepening your understanding through practical application rather than purely theoretical instruction.
Who should attend?
This course is intended for maintenance personnel, service technicians, operators and anyone involved in the setup, maintenance or troubleshooting of control valves and valve positioners — independent of manufacturer and prior experience.
Benefits
After completing the course, you will be able to mount, parameterise and optimise a variety of valve positioners independently. You will learn to identify control deviations and malfunctions in a structured way, analyse them with confidence and resolve them effectively.
You will also gain a clear understanding of how different settings influence valve behaviour and how to adjust them to improve performance for your specific application.

Senior Service Technician
“Whoever understands the valve positioner understands the language of the plant and can control it precisely. That is the understanding I want to pass on to you.”
Since the start of my career, I have worked on control valves – in power plants and in other industries where safe, precise control of the process medium is essential.
