Designed for high-pressure and high-temperature applications, our steam conditioning valves with integrated Atomizer deliver exceptional cooling water injection performance. Using the kinetic energy of upstream high-pressure steam, they achieve efficient desuperheating with the shortest evaporation distance of any downstream cooler. Due to the supercritical pressure reduction, the steam reaches the speed of sound at the nozzle outlet, while the resulting strong turbulence finely atomizes the cooling water into fine droplets, ensuring effective steam mixing.
Thanks to their advanced design, these valves provide consistent high pressure across the entire load range, ensuring excellent partial load performance. For extreme conditions, such as temperatures up to 600 °C, our pressure-sealed bonnets offer reliable sealing even during rapid temperature changes.
