TOP innovation prize 2010 awarded to Holter Regelarmaturen (HORA)

Jochen Homann, Undersecretary at the Federal Ministry of Economy, honoured HORA as the best company from the innovation network TOP.

The TOP innovation prize 2010 was awarded to HORA from Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock. It was conferred on 18 November 2010 in Berlin during the TOP company conference in the Federal Ministry for Economy and Technology (BMWi). More than 120 representatives from the host companies of the TOP technology-oriented visitation and information programme participated in the event. Since 1993, the "TOP innovation prize" is awarded to the best company in a network of more than 100 innovative companies for its innovative power.

HORA was honoured for its long-term commitment in implementing innovations. But product innovations alone were not responsible for the continuous success of the company, process innovations also contributed.

Prof. Dr. Dieter Dresselhaus, Managing Director, said: "I see the TOP innovation prize as an award to all HORA employees. The prize is an award for the enthusiasm of our employees. It is a motivation for us to continue on this path." The TOP innovation prize is the second award for the valve manufacturer: In 2008, HORA received the Manufacturing Excellence (MX-) Award as the best SME in Germany, and in 2011 it was followed by the OWL Maschinenbau Award, for the excellent personnel policy at HORA.
